About us

'We' that is a group of different people with different backgrounds, at whose core stands proudly the family of Natsir: The soul of the household, Diana, makes sure we never go hungry. With her passion for cooking, she doesn't only run the cooking classes, but is also in charge the guest accommodations. The uprising entrepeneur, Irma, both follows in the footsteps of her mother Diana helping with meal preparation, as well as slowly takes over the chocolate production from her father Natsir. The youngest family member, Adiba will start elementary school this year (2026), but is already responsible for guiding newcomers around the property. Having been raised by international guests, her English is incredible. In the absence of volunteers, Amir, Natsir's brother takes over teaching the English classes.

But the beating heart of the project, still to this day, is Natsir himself. Tirelessly, he works in his garden from dusk to dawn, always driven by his passion for the plants and trees.

This project wouldn't be possible with help from the outside. Family members, neighbours and friends come over for the chocolate and coffee production. International Volunteers

are teaching English and work in the garden. Strangers, inspired by our story, donate money in our fundraising campains. And recently, this project was chosen to be supported by Widya Erti Indonesia, a nationwide organisation that offers both administrative as well as financial support to local sustainability projects.
